Welcome. My name is Alex Redgrave, and this is my personal writing blog. I mainly write short fiction, and my stories dance around themes such as isolation, vengeance, pity, love and hatred. While most of my subject matter is either inspired by real events that have happened through history, my main inspiration for writing is derived mainly from the works of Edgar Allan Poe, Bram Stoker, Charles Maturin, Mary Shelley, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and more recently: Anthony Horowitz, and Ian McEwan. In addition, I am also indebted to the collective body of professional short story-writers whose works are published in the annual Best American Mystery Stories compilation.

This blog contains my complete list of works thus far; many of which were first submitted on Creepypasta.wikia, or written in my spare time.

Brace yourselves, as these stories are not for the faint-hearted, and will send a shiver down your spine…
